Movie Planning Night – Tuesday, May 7, 6pm
Downtown revitalization is part of our mission. Activities help boost quality of life and bring people into town. Glen Alpine residents are planning a free movie night (June 1). Help is needed and appreciated in the planning. Meet at Glen Alpine Town Hall.
Rutherford College Booth – Saturday, June 1, 10am-3pm
Stop by our booth at the Rutherford College Founder’s Day Celebration. We will have information about the Burke River Trail, educational materials and a free craft for kids.
Trail Town Trash Pickup – Sunday June 2, 3pm
Join Burke River Trail Association as we work to keep our Trail Towns free of trash. For this event, we will meet at McGalliard Falls Park (1400 Falls Road) in Valdese. From there, we will pickup trash on Church Street and Meytre Avenue for an hour. Vests, grabbers, gloves, waters and snacks provided. We plan to do this once a month at various locations.
