Thursday, February 27 – Noon – Trail Town Tour – – Each month, learn about a Town along the Burke River Trail. For February, the focus is on Hildebran. We will meet at The Depot in Hildebran Community Park for Lunch and hear updates from Town Officials. This free lunch event from BRTA is open to the first 20 folks who RSVP to BurkeTrails@gmail.com.
Sunday, March 2 – 3:00 pm – Trail Town Trash Pickup – Meet at Castle Bridge Boat Ramp in Rutherford College. Just one hour is all we do!! Vests, grabbers, gloves provided.
Thursday, March 20 – 9:00 am – Spring Stroll – It’s the First Day of Spring!! Let’s see if we can find Trout Lilies and Blood Root – and maybe more. This will be a casual stroll down the Valdese Greenway – turn back at anytime. The group will come back via outer loop for a 3 mile walk. Meet at Valdese Lakeside Park restrooms.

We will meet at Drexel First Baptist Church for Lunch and Updates from Town Officials. For dessert, attendees will walk one block over to the new Drexel Mural to hear from Grow with Drexel and then onto the building that will become the Drexel Museum.
