Thursday, April 24 –Noon – Trail Town Tour – Each month, learn about a Town along the Burke River Trail. For April, the focus is on Rhodhiss. We will meet at Copper Penny for Lunch and Updates from Town Officials. This free lunch event from BRTA is open to the first 20 folks who RSVP to BurkeTrails@gmail.com.
Saturday, May 3 – 9:00 am – Spruce Up McGalliard Falls– This BRT trailhead needs some love. Weed eating, shrub trimming, trash pickup.
Sunday, May 4 – 3:00 pm – Trail Town Trash Pickup – Meet at Exit 111 – south side at Scout Hut
Saturday, May 10 – 3:00 pm – Trail Town Trash Pickup – River Clean up by Boat and on the Shore – meet at Valdese Lakeside Park – if you have a kayak or canoe bring it
